Evening of Evette
Lead me to where the light shines millions
upon my cold dark face.
Where my eyelashes touch and my cheeks glow
with the sun.
You are familiar with the melancholy of this old forgotten place.
I will follow your spirit,
so young and spontaneous,
for our journey has just begun.
Lead me to where your smiles rejoice together
to make even more.
Our laughter bouncing off brick walls
that could swallow us whole.
My feet hear your footsteps as we walk upside down...
The clouds make room for your entrance.
-Mr.Strangedub
would you not want the clouds to make room for your entry as well? I mean, you began a journey together...why would you ever want to end something so wonderful? the journey must continue beyond the clouds...don't you think? just a thought. you have great poems here. keep it up. love to read more.
