no phone calls today
Turn your brain off

in our arms so simple

I often wish I never had to sleep and that I never got tired. There is definitely a satisfaction in both, but only because our bodies are extremely physically dependent on it. But if I didn't have to sleep I imagine how much more I could do with that time.
ReplyDeleteBut, seeing as how it repairs our bodies I assume it's necessary and is one of those universal trade-offs, like night and day. The balance. It's interesting that we can get stuck in between these two different states in this hazy lazy way. So this is an interesting poem.
